Following the announcement that he's been nominated for two Association of Independent Music Awards (for Best 'Difficult' Second Album and Independent Album of the Year), Obaro Ejimiwe, better known as Ghostpoet, spoke to Carlos Dávalos and learnt his music has reached further than he thought.

Ahead of the announcement of the 2011 Barclaycard Mercury Prize winner on 6 September, Craig Stevens had a chat with one of the nominees, Ghostpoet.  The London-born Obaro Ejimiwe discussed the popularity of his music in the UK and overseas, how he came to be signed to Gilles Peterson's Brownswood Recordings and his upcoming UK tour.
